BC Ng 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2006 Abel, perhaps you could try uploading at a smaller size...probably 1000 or 1024. The picture seems to have a lot of compression too.
Azuddin 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2006 the picture looks awesome to me. but A.net screener is too strict. even my photo from IAH spotting was rejected. so i put it up on myaviation.net Azuddin
Edwin P K 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2006 As BC Ng pointed out, your pics seems to have been compressed quite significantly, as you can see pixelated bits all over the pic. What was the resolution setting that you used?
Abel E 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2006 my reso. 1600x1200 thanks for pointing out my mistake....... anymore thing to comment?
Sneeze Lam 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2006 My resolution selected for A.net uploads: 1024 x 768 Well, as many of the fellows have pointed out, the photo compressed too much that, to be honest (hope you won't mind), the A.net screeners must give you: bad quality, bad angle, bad size They are now having a much more strict measurement than a year before. Sneeze Lam 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2006 Yup... Iggy... that's right... Me too... multiple rejections... When you think your photo is good enough already.. they said... COMMON Haha, Uncle Norman, I do think they are somehow CRAZY, They would do as unfair/ nonsense as they can. No matter how, just keep on upload and let them reject. Cause I found that some of them are very easy going. Trust me. Yes, Iggy's point is exactly the attitude that a photographer should have. So don't care people's non-sense comments, the feeling of yourself towards the photos is the most important. However, do keep improvement with the comment given from "reasonable" friends. Hope you all can understand what i mean.
