flee 5 Report post Posted September 21, 2016 I think the price of the new plane would include painting the livery, whatever it may be, right?
Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted September 21, 2016 I think the price of the new plane would include painting the livery, whatever it may be, right? That's a negative. Painting is at an extra. Scheme and livery can be extremely expensive. I think if you buy off the plans, you get a euro-white scheme with black lettering for the registration. Even adding stickers is provided at a cost. When you buy an aircraft at "list prices" it is the bare shell of the aircraft, floors, basic safety equipment, flight control systems and basic avionics (certification standard) packages. Interiors, avionic upgrades and IFE/Galley systems/lavatories & associated plumbing are all extras.
Radzi 2 Report post Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Funny they did not paint it as such from the get go Maybe they want the local spotters to be the first to upload the special livery to aviation photography websites. flee 5 Report post Posted December 9, 2016 With three A320Neos now operating in the fleet, AK seems to be deploying them on their longer routes and/or popular(high load) routes. KUL-HKG KUL-BKI KUL-KCH KUL-CGK KUL-DMK KUL-SIN KUL-PEN Interesting to note that 9M-AGB is serving East Malaysia exclusively. Up north, FD's sole A320Neo seems to be serving mostly on the DMK-CNX route. It does the DMK-HKT run about once a day.
