Eric M 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2006 Great shots Pieter! You'll see both of our beauties (JA401J and JA402J) now every Sunday from 1135-1405 at AMS. They operate our new cargo route nonstop to NRT (over Siberia), instead of a route westbound via ANC (still done by the B747-200F on Thursday/Saturday) I see you handle your camera well now? Mohd Idham 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2006 (edited) No aircraft can fly without painting i.e. bare metal.. it is chrome painted... actually, the painting or chrome painting can give extra strenght to the fuselage structure up in the air.. The aircraft will not get the "Certificate of Airworthiness" if it is bare metal.. you can fly the aircraft, but just in low altitude like Boeing did for its new born aircraft, but also it is painted with green primer..
