To be honest, I find it very uninspiring. Their previous tail is really iconic.

I love it. Looks modern. The old tail (especially) looks very like a gomen plane.

Love the tail, it gives that 'glitter' so associated with UAE; not sure if this is final but the rest of the plane, particularly the cowlings, could use more colours though IMO.

I guess EY must get government approval to remove that UAE national emblem...just my opinion.

A bit disappointed though. From the teaser images, I thought they would be going white or something for the front end of the plane.

 

Plus, the Etihad logo doesnt really gel with the new tail. I feel that needs a revamp too.

The design looks good, but it lacks identity. At least MH kept the jellyfish.

I remember watching a YouTube video of planes landed in SYD pre-dawn, when only the aircraft tail was illuminated. QF and SQ have the most majestic and recognisable tails.

It doesn't work if you ask me. At the back it's a modern theme and at the front it maintains the classic "gomen"-like theme.

 

Not a good one if you ask me, but still better than all the boring new liveries that we've seen the past few years.
