The captain's voice comes over the intercom system with the kind of welcome you could hear on any jet touching down at Australia's busiest airport. But this isn't any plane and it isn't any captain. Captain "John" is superstar John Travolta and the plane is a Boeing 707-138B, a relic of a bygone era and unique to Qantas. KC Sim 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 N707JT has been one of the most beautiful airliner many of us have photographed in SIN ... and for those who have met John Travolta, he is one of the nicest soul on Earth too. He has brought his B707-138 to SIN at least twice and on one occasion, many of us who were waiting to photograph his departure would remember how he caused a go-around. I hope he keeps N707JT flying for a very very long time and that we get to see it in our home airports in Singapore and Malaysia many more times. Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2010 He was due to bring his bird to Perth today for our annual Telethon Charity Event, however as his wife is expecting twins at any time he left early for the states.
