H Azmal 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 i have a feeling its photoshopped 26031[/snapback] Not according to this. MAS also leased at least two DC-10s (MAT & MAZ) to LOT Polish Airlines in the mid 1990s. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/001751/L/ http://www.airliners.net/open.file/053914/L/ And has anyone seen this? Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2006 Does anybody have any pic of 737-476's VH-TJG (9M-MLD) and -TJI (9M-MLE) when they were leased to MAS in 1990? 9M-MQL's first flight was 18/11/1994, however was not delivered until 1/10/1995...i'm thinking this was leased due to lack of requirement and hence the remark for this particular pic is incorrect, with MAS not having flown her at the stage. Radzi 2 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 There was a time in the 90s whem MAS had too many 737 at hand, and leased out a few. For a short while we used to call the SZB engineering apron the second Boeing field because of the aircraft parked there. MAS leased the 734/735 to a few airlines as well: Air Leisure UK Shaheen Air Jet Airways (later sold: MMO and MMP becomes VT-JAE /JAF) Angel Air (ask TK) Royal Air Cambodge Myanmar Airways International I did flew a few leased 734s. MJI, MJD, MJO, MJM, MJN, MJQ, MJF, MJA, MJK, MJC, MJE, MJG, MJH, MJT These were mostly gone by 1995.
