Edinburgh-Turnhouse Airport

Recommended Posts

Visited EDI yesterday, for a few hours, and was able to snap the following pictures of airlines and airliners not seen regularly outside the UK:

G-LGNA still denoted the former airline Loganair, now in BA-dress, but soon to be changed to the BE-one:

G-LGND already sports the light-blue "underwear" of the new BE livery:

G-JEDP is BE's promotion of "Lowcost but not at any cost", a beautiful colourscheme:

EI-REN is AerArann's special coloured ATR72, seen here shortly after take-off from runway 06:

Remember JetMagic ? This Embraer 135 still sports the colours of this defunct airline, now operating for Bmi Regional"

Globespan is a well known colourscheme now is KUL, as well as in EDI (saw 6 planes within 3 hours):

After EDI, it was GLA to be visited... :pardon:

No wonder this 757 looked abandened: the 'electricity' was pulled out of Zoom, just hours before this picture was taken (see seperate topic):

No doubt, this is the smallest aircraft wearing "The Flag"; here, she is seen departing for Barra...
