  1. Great shots YL! Believe these shots were taken at rwy 32R though.
  2. 1) The bus name is called Airport Liner, almost all green in colour. 2) When in MTB, walk down to the "bus station" located at the ground floor of car park c, all public buses comes to a halt over here. 3) Board the bus heading to LCCT. There will be a signboard showing KLIA-LCCT. If unsure, just ask the Airport Liner staff around. 4) Pay RM1.50 per person and you're in the LCCT. The journey is circa 20 minutes. 5) Frequency? Every half-an-hour (that's what they say) but hey, i'm still unable to study their schedule for almost 4 years now! All I can suggest is leave the MTB early to avoid getting stuck in between their no movement period.
  3. http://www.budiey.com/airasia-celebrates-an-allstar-wedding/ *pics available in the link above. Flight no was AK009 and Iswara is currently the manager of the Airport Strategy and Planning dept. Congrats Iswara!
  4. http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/12/8/business/7577536&sec=business VietJet didn't set off, but they're still looking elsewhere! On another note, Happy 9th Birthday!
  5. Correct Nick, during heavy rains like these, boarding is via the aft door. Just to prevent water flooding the forward galley which can seep into the avionics compartment.
  6. Just to clarify, the seats are already pre-assigned via the system before the start of the day. No matter if you do web check-in or counter check-in, you'll still end up getting the same seat. Unless if you do counter check in and you can convince the GS to change, only then you'll get a new seat. Also since the seats have already been assigned via the system, there have been glitches whereby the system assigned same seats to almost 3-4 pax. Only then you can hope for a different seat to be given to you.

  8. Nice stuff mdsaleh! Your shots just keep getting better and better! Looks like we have a new ambassador in SZB now
  9. Hello RobK, sounds to me like Sri Wijaya Air
  10. And on another note.. http://www.businesstimes.com.sg/sub/latest/story/0,4574,414879,00.html

  12. Definitely not, BC! More often these routes just slipped out of passengers' mind and they go missing as if it never existed in the first place!
  13. Wah Keith! Thanks for dedicating Sandeep's ride to me; I'm flabbergasted Nice shots, but why ISO800 on a sunny day? You're getting better already, just pair up with some editing and you're all set to go! Cheers!
  14. Cantik Capt! Surprising to see a VP registered GLEX with a Malaysian flag beside the door.
  15. Azizul, I don't remember seeing anyone informing about them already painted. There were members who suggested that MLA and MLB will be operated by FY and I believe everyone's expecting a new livery on it soon. Quoting Capt. Radzi's post HERE
  16. Some lazy man MH spotting from Anjung Tinjau. When I arrived at 9 A.M., overlooking the Alpha bays. And this was when a few already left; a contrast shot with 9M-MLA and 9M-MLB in the background. Hope to see you both in FY colours! 9M-MLF being pushed back 9M-MQO.
  17. Hi Chaity, yes I noticed the logo on the winglets instead of the usual filled gold colour on the winglets yesterday while editing. Anyways, just to share two more, we're definitely the second home of many middle eastern carriers. A7-ACG A6-EYG
  18. And before I forget, guess who's back?? Sorry for pix quality, shot from far away + 40% crop. Cheers!
  19. Sandeep, good to hear this unfortunately I won't be spotting due to work. But I'm very sure there will be others there waiting to catch MH5432's departure to BKI. Hopefully they will do this small favour for you. Good luck bro! Anyways, after catching President Clinton's plane (HERE), I decided to join two other members spotting arrivals at 32L. Spotting with two legends; one is B763 legend while another one is a legend in spotting. Capt Masahiko Sakai and Chaity Weather was BAD until one short 20 minutes before it went back to square one, so sharing some usual stuff only. 9M-AFE A9C-LH A6-ECL Cheers!
  20. Sorry MIR, my brain said 2767, but my fingers kept wanting to type 2616. Maybe that's my 4D number for today. Cheers & thanks bro for the info!
  21. N2767 touched down from SIN at 1025hrs today, delayed departure out of SIN. Weather was BAD so the only place I could be was at Anjung Tinjau. After vacating the active runway and taxiing on taxiway Charlie, a follow-me truck came and guided the a/c to the remote stand beside A10. Welcome to Malaysia, President Clinton! Land of the many MH birds. And the best shot I could get was only this. Pix dedicated to Capt. Masahiko Sakai! Chaity and Capt Sakai will definitely have another angle of it on finals. Cheers!
  22. STD from SIN is at 0830 and confirmed landing in KUL instead of SZB. I will be there waiting for it, feel free to tag along TQ MIR for the info!
  23. Capt, I believe it is not the same as seen in SZB as this bird was here since yesterday. Before leaving back home from work circa 9a.m., there was already quite some people around the a/c. I believe they were already preparing it for its departure.
  24. Confirmed it is an E-4B, parked at the remote cargo bay (F11/F10). They came in bringing in a lot of military equipments and huge satelites and personnel manning them 24/7. Managed to catch a glimpse yesterday, but sorry no photo.
