Thanks flee. I was wondering if there would be an anjung tinjau in the new terminal too. Haven't seen any mention of it so far. The old A & W outlet on the first floor of the old terminal before its previous renovation was always a good spot. Pity that disappeared.

A surprising morning at PEN today! I arrived just before 8am to see if I could get Perdana 2. Thanks for the heads-up MIR. I was at PEN last night collecting some visitors and spotted something lurking in the shadows just to the north of the new terminal extension. Went back with the camera this morning and saw this Kamov Ka-32S of Avialift parked with all the covers and ties in place. 20111208-IMG_5857 by Janner88, on Flickr In for LIMA, or another reason?

Surely not! The renovation of this driveway was only completed at the beginning of last month when it was re-opened. Looking at the date of the article in the link it reads 2011/04/01. Hopefully, the problems that this rebuilding gave are now a thing of the past.

Pieter, thanks. Considering that MTD was only delivered in July this year, I thought it was dirty as well. Raymund, You are welcome. I would like to know why this aircraft came into PEN though.

Raymund, I have just checked flight24.com for the listings of MAS flights on which this aircraft operated. From that listing, it seems that MTD was operating MH136, Adelaide to KL on the day (15.11.11) I took that photo. Does anyone know if there were there problems at KL that meant this aircraft had to divert to PEN? BTW, it's the first time that I have seen any aircraft wearing the new colours arrive at PEN.

Light was not good at all either so had to increase the ISO speed to get a reasonable shot. I am still not sure about the new MAS colour scheme. Norman, great catches on the VC10 and Orion. The other photos are good as well. KS, I like your VC10 shot also. Must have been a dull day for the firemen. We should all have water pistols like that!!

Nice catches on the Orion and the VC10. Just checked my log, XV108 carried me from the UK to Cyprus on posting, 12 Sep 72! Happy daze!!!
