One question here guys, how do you know where the plane came from or its destination?

Air Force One IS the callsign if I'm not mistaken. Only used when the president is onboard. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, thats the Chinese one. We're talking about B.Obama now! I think catching a glimpse of him would be an amazing feat already.

I don't see the big deal of putting it on public domain. But then, I'm not the most powerful man in the world so I don't see it as a problem. Haha.. I seriously forgotten about it landing in Payar Lebar as AF1 is a military plane and every time it flies its considered an Air Force mission and normally military planes land in military bases. I read on another forum and they said that last time when Bush came AF1 landed in Changi. Is it true? Oh and I read that they closed highways and jam cellphone lines for 6 hours too!! All for 1 man. Incredible! Now I know why the President of US of A will NEVER come to M'sia. We can never jam our cellphone lines for so long. People will start complaining. But if he does come to M'sia one day, it'll be a field day for the spotters. If he lands in KLIA, we've got it covered. If he lands in SZB, we still got it covered Not sure about Simpang though but I think we still have that one covered too! Haha..

Bulis? I say the Secret Service will be leading the Ops. Before Obama arrives at a certain place, the Secret Service will be on the ground preparing for his arrival. They'll probably mark down all potential target areas already. But then S'pore is a pro-US country so it might not be that bad. If they come to M'sia, I can imagine the tight security. Well, we'll just have to wait and see. Any idea when its coming?

I dunno man. I bet security will be super tight. I'm guessing they'll issue a Presidential Movement on the NOTAM at Changi too. Its the most powerful man on Earth flying in. But if you guys do get a shot of the AFO, PLEASE PLEASE post it up here. I wonder if the AFO will ever touch down in M'sia. Cheers!

Any of you guys have any idea when Air Force One will be touching down in Changi or is it another top secret mission? Would love to see some pics of the AFO. I wonder if spotters are allowed around the perimeter of the airport on that day.

So will MH replace the B744 with B748 or the B787? Heard that the B744 will be phased out by 2014/15.

Its intentional. If you go on Saturday, you'll notice that Thunderbird no. 5 pilot's "5" on his chest is inverted too! So that way, you can see it the right side up :)Wikipedia it! Cheers!

Thunderbird 8 is more of a support plane. Its used for the chase photography too if I'm not mistaken. Try wikipedia-ing out

I can imagine how fast those birds land one after one another until you don't have time to check for accuracy. Where is the best place to spot in SZB on Saturday? Go into TUDM or the usual spotting places?
