from my experience, AK never make any announcement when they axing any routes. eg; KCH-Bali, BKI-Bali, BKI-BKK?

did i mention anywhere the flight delayed? ha ha haha. well the flight arrived on time, boarding took slightly longer time due to almost 30-40% pax were aunties and uncles, so they took time to climb up the staircase and look for their seats. check out my pictorial TR on TR

i believe travelpedia meant the town taxi not airport taxi? airport to town better take taxi by buying taxi coupon upon arrival at taxi counter. they are using coupon system. if you at town, its the other story. almost same like in kl. set the price 1st before hop on the taxi. price from hotel/town to airport is standard, RM25 if not mistaken. but if for your family size, u might need 2 taxis

Kuching park more for business hotel, not for holiday makers unless u got cars. habour view located at superd location. wonderful for tourist on the foot. and mune u, taxis are much more realiable than buses... take my word as KIA is my 2nd home.

Fren, you can make a dummy booking and you'll know the extra charges at the end before you make the payment. common hidden charges is there, depending on which airline. AK usually will not include RM5 luggage charge, and Automatically Insurance charge (removable before made payment), TR will charge you RM25/15kg luggage and RM20 convenient fee for using Credit card payment mode. there's different in currency when u make booking. eg. KCH-SIN-KCH in you'll paid in RM, as if u wanna transit and fly to say Darwin, you'll had to pay in SGD, not RM.depending on the origin country of departure.

Just had a day trip to SBW yesterday... tiring but observed something new. I was on board MH3690 F50 0710-0755 and back MH2255 B737 1710-1745 and Maswing serve using trolleys now, instead of offering a trayfull of YEOs Soy bEan or Milo packed drinks. SIBU airport sucks... old and stuffy. You can harvest gunny full of birds nest at the check in area, if you looked up the ceiling... no wonder sibu is full with swiftlets farming... even to the airport welcoming visitors withbirds nest... but mind you the one in airport is inedible...

guys, anyone spotted at SBW? i've being flying SBW numerous time but no chance to spot there. i know how to get closest to the runway. SBW is no other then freq visitor of MH B737 and AK320 and Maswing F50, some time ATR.
