Apparently ANOTHER Qantas plane was forced to land - this time it was at LHR. suspected hydraulic problem, but after checked its all ok apparently. Qantas's third strike? and its out?

personally, i try to use the fastest shutter you can get without resorting to using the flash. the slowest i would go would be 1/25. also, i use P as it is a bit more manageable than the green setting on your camera. on another note, here's another video of the plane landing, thanks to @Mas and @nigelais also more pictures of the IFE thanks to @nigelais too http://twitpic.com/32vtha you can see the USB port there. wonder if it includes iPod connectivity as well?

Rather than Hacks, i would call it as deep burgundy colours - akin to a nice fine wine. the plane is both cooling and warm.

never liked flash. makes things look very unnatural. I LIKE the classy Y seats. very modern (for MAS) and proper inseat IFEs! its very warm and inviting. just hoping that its not warm during flights!

http://twitter.com/#!/tengkuazmil/status/29135723306 R 1st new B737-800 from Boeing has taken off from Seattle on its way 2 KUL. It has bn designated 9M-MXA. We R planning a big welcome 4 it. The journey (of the new plane and new planes coming to MAS) has gone underway.

Head's up BKI people. MAS is sending its first 738 - 9M-MXA on nov 15th!!! The flight should arrive around 11:30am-ish in BKI, so camera people should be ready.

actually, at least for me, the new livery works. if you notice the angle of the video, you can see the blue and red flowing into the kite, and when the 738 passes by the red looks like it is going forever to the back. but then i really need to see it up close.

Actually the pattern is more organic here than the one on garuda. It also breaks the tail-only colour that most airlines with new liveries tend to go for. I do think the colour swishes will be more on the big dugong? and white is lighter than coloured paints by pigment weight, from my understanding. at least it will share design commonality with MASKargo.

I was passing by Subang this morning when i saw there was only one RBA 767 left standing. instead it got replaced by a 737 classic - a 200 i think. any news about this? also there was a 747 from ANA (without titles) nearer to the road. any story about this plane?

The flights will be tuesday, thursday and sunday. Hoping the tax will not be a burden - would love to be one of the first to fly the legs. Also FINALLY, true leisure trips to japan for cheap.

Guys. The slip-road to Jalan Pekeliling just after pos malaysia is open now. And guess what? it runs under 14L flightpath. Wonder if we will ever see a arrival 14L from the south as we usually see from the north?
