  1. Really enjoyed viewing those exclusive shots, superb! Excellent job, guys!
  2. There were three fighter jets flying in formation over my area for the past few days(0900-1145LT)..all of them seems to be flying from West Coast Peninsular heading to Subang area. A) WMSA B ) 1311272330 C) 1312130900 D) DLY BTN 2330 - 0215, 0315 - 0600, 0700 - 0900 ON 26 NOV TILL 13 DEC 2013E) RMAF DISPERSAL AREA CLSD DUE TO CEREMONY PARADE, EXCEPT VVIP/VIP/TASKING MOV.
  3. the other 2 bizjets was listed on flightaware a few days back, the Vistajet CRJ came from Hong Kong. If i'm not mistaken, the white CL-600 arrived from Taiwan with a new rego. Based on its colour scheme, i guess it is a former Comlux jet. Flightaware also showed a recently retired Sriwijaya B734, N234AN flew from KK to Guam last night.
  4. The runways and taxiways are capable to handle the A380 however, the renovation at the terminal to be A380 ready is still on-going. Btw, Emirates A380 has been to PER in the past: http://www.myaviation.net/search/photo_search.php?id=01648713&size=large
  5. Here is the ATC recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fjPx_i2XIw#t=431 Airports which are closeby to each other and airports which has multiple paralel runways may lead to confusion. A few years back, a pilot who was doing a round the world flight was heading to PEN from the north but was confused which is the correct airport upon descent because of BWH nearby. I hope with with the opening of KLIA2, there will be no confusion between RWY14R/32L and RWY15/33.
  6. A fish rots from the head down...in bole land, utility planes and helicopters are used as private flights for the people upstairs for golf trips, very very nearby visits, work to home etc. Some have comfy vip cabin interiors disguised as utiliy planes operated by some agencies.
  7. Correction to the title of above's list, Dignitaies & head of states aircraft to ASEAN Summit Brunei 2013 It's not just an issue in BolehLand... Howard cabinet ministers who prefer VIP air Read more : http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/howard-cabinet-ministers-who-prefer-vip-air-20131026-2w8h3.html
  8. He was referring to the recent summit in Brunei, claiming all the other planes are bigger than our representative (listen 0:38) The fact is PM Lee flew to BWN in a G550 VH-PFL. How could an is smaller and cheaper than a G550? (listen 1:04) Dignitaies & head of states aircraft to APEC Summit Brunei 2013 Chartered airliners: Silk Air A320 9V-SLB - UN Sec Gen Garuda B735? 9. I came across this website: http://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/73471-question-identify-this-plane/?p=1239800 The plane belongs to one of the family members who used to be a pilot. The rego is still unknown till today, i guess it was once an ex RMAF plane, sold and demilitarized for civilian usage.
  10. Eh..goverment jet to Qatar? Which one? isn't the ACJ is only rented from JP1? Sahidan mentioned RM28.8mil/year to rent. Some groups always regard any executive jet used by gov leaders and their familes are 'goverment jets' For instance, these are not gov jets: http://dptsvip.homestead.com/files/malysied85mp.jpg http://www.infofoto.gov.bn/main.php?g2_itemId=2823 http://w1.nst.com.my/polopoly_fs/1.67384.1332934660!/image/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_454/image.jpg http://www.namnewsnetwork.org/v3/photo/2013100919351066.jpg http://www.kln.gov.my/image/image_gallery?uuid=1586ab98-a5fb-47f5-b398-6f25c2864c54&groupId=33494&t=1369645547468 http://bigdogdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/img_0255.jpg
  11. I imagine if MASTAR is still in existence today, with various executive jets in its fleet, perhaps will boost MAS profits and reduce the load of the AF to operate Vvip flights and focus more on the defence role. I reckon the demand for vip travel is just too high in the 'organization', despite having first/bussiness class air travel as their perks ..even the current 3 Vip jets+2 Vip turboprop+4 Vip heli in the AF is inadequate, which requires other non vip aircraft (9M&FM) of the organization also being utilized for Vip flights. Furthermore, they still need to get jets operated by MLM, JP1,VJS,Phoenix etc. Perhaps they are also very excited with C.Jet that might start next year frm SZB. Sahidan mentioned chartering an airline would not be expensive, he gave a figure of how much does a chartered 747 cost. Only a big airliner in his mind. I understand the need for security, speed, making private calls, private discussions on board but i wonder if it is really necessary for elected ones and their entourage to use facilities on board mid & large executive jets (bedroom, showers, conference) each time during the short hops to visit their constituency and other short haul flights. If they lessen the "naik executive jet, baru ada style! " there are chances their rating might increase. Even the Thai leader and her team has started using TG on some official visits.
  12. Good Shot,FarisManap. It departed for Doha earlier today. N848JA G550 just arrived from BWN as EJM848, leaving this evening to PEK.
  13. Thats the A319 arriving Kuantan last year with the Macchis. IIRC i've viewed a mid air photo of the BBJ accompanied by a fighter posted on the net a few years back. Even the Indonesian Presidential flight is escorted by fighters : http://tni-au.mil.id/galeri/f-16-lakukan-escort-ri-1
