  4. You are welcome. I also came across this wonderful article while searching something else on Google. From the article, it seems that MH mainline will be operating the regional jet from SZB. No mentioned anything about FY. So I guess if the plan materialized, MH will be based several regional jets in SZB while FY retaining its turboprop operations there.

  7. Do you know that Maldives imposed a very strict rules towards foreign visitors visiting their island nation? Only certain areas/beaches where tourists can consumed alcohol and wear skimpy swimwear, yet you can see the high number of airlines (particularly from Europe) that flying to their airport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velana_International_Airport The reason is simple. Because Maldives is more popular and well-known among foreigners than our country. Again, it is all about marketing & promotion.
  8. The last time I checked, I did not see airlines such as British Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss, United, etc flying to Vietnam or the Philippines. And talking about Bali, they have 1 of the most dirty and polluted beaches in this world.
  9. Most of the countries (except Thailand) that you listed are overrated than Malaysia. I feel that the things that we really lack are marketing & promotions.

  12. QR launched flights to PEN few months ahead before flights to LGK started, so it makes sense for them to resume flights to PEN first.
  13. This livery seems better to distance itself from the closest competitor. But (IMO) it will be way better if the logo on the tail and "MyAirline.my'' title to be on different color such as Black.
  14. This is not something new. In the past, both Uzbekistan Airways and Air Astana were flying single-aisle B757 aircraft (along with their B767) to KUL for many years.
  15. They have uploaded the photo of cabin interior on their official FB page around 2 months ago...
  16. I think another reason is because they do not have enough number of aircraft.
