  2. some activies on 1/11/2011... starting the day with F-5E doing T&G.. didn't manage to catch 3 F/A-18 and 1 Typhoon departing around 10.30am but managed to catch this fella returning to base.. followed by this fella.. to end the day, a few rounds of T&G by RMAF C-130H..

  6. i believed most of the action during Exercise Bersama Lima 2011 will be in Butterworth AFB, Subang AFB & Kuantan AFB. Butterworth & Kuantan for fighters and Subang for aerial tankers & AWACs.

  10. last week saw a couple of F/A-18 and BAe Hawks doing training. count me in if you still thinking of spotting. the safest area to spot would be from the paddy field. spotting from the perimeter fencing would most definitely attract the Provost attention..

  13. had never place any high expectation whenever LIMA is coming. as for accommodation, had been checking around for the last few months and the price is 3, 4 times the normal rate... every time i asked why the price sky rocketed, the answer is simple..ITS BECAUSE OF LIMA...really bloodsucking buggers..

  20. no such thing as stupid question bro, only stupid answers... i believed the Hornets flew directly from Australia and somewhere along the way, they do mid air refueling...just my guess... p/s: RMAF Hornets did the same routine while flying to Darwin for Exercise Pitch Black in 2008.
