  1. Just some dates: 5th December - Handover in TLS 8th December - Arrives in KUL (Sandeep..bah!) 9th December - Will arrive at Langkawi for Lima Airshow The A320's will initially be used for route expansion with BWN, REP and SOC on the immediate outlook. **subject to change** All 733's across the 3 airlines will eventually be replaced with A320's, with a fleet of (at least) 60 A320-214's to be operational by 2011.
  2. meals were served, but were collected extremely late in the flight.
  3. There's also the possibility, I believe it was for better and thus more reliable coverage
  4. All An-124's carry a tow-bar at all times, as their aint to many ports that keep one. Although in mid-2003 we had one in Perth to cater for a flood of C-5A/B's, and An-124's over about 6 weeks (6 and 12 respectively). Haha, Sandeep, maybe it was MF? No, its actually HF Antennae, don't ask me why we have them here, as PER is fully VHF equipped.
  5. Awesome pics man! Sunday was awesome, B-HLN was put through its paces along with an appalling effort from QF with VH-VXB, topped off by F50 VH-FND! Oh man, best pics of the B-1B came from about half way down the KC-135R's wing You'll have to wait for those!
  6. Many are ex- AN/QF New Zealand, but all are at MEL, not AVV. VH-EWR is the first of 11 due for FlyBe, then storage a Kemble all owned by Trident Leasing. The next should be -EWM

  8. Cheers Radzi, nothing like showing off a new airline bit of free publicity ay! Pieter, they ex- AN 146's do have ACARS. Bit of news...from SW in BME. It left and returned a few hours later enroute to DPS after a suspected cracked windshield. Was noted departing BME earlier this evening using rego as callsign for Darwin, perhaps a full repair will be done there. But as yet, has not been through PEN.
  9. It should have passed through PEN today, if not staying the night. Depending solely on crew requirements. Departures of ex- AN a/c are usually quite low key out of MEL, however when -JJS left PER, everyone was out there! Many of the ex- 143's were destined for O7 (Ozjet) however change of plans now see's 12 732's headed our way! Note Ozjet a/c pass thru Subang enroute to DRW and MEL. Latest was G-CEAJ earlier in the week, however again are very low key and we usually don't here until they have reached DRW!
  10. She departed BNE at 1430 local. Do the maths and work out thats an arrival of around 2030 - 2100 ish tonight.
