Went to KLIA sending off my sis to AUS last night (TK were u flying that sector?) Suprising to noticed that improvement work on the car park is now in progress. they have now: 1. re-erected the signboard at the entrace of parking block B 2. light up block A at night 3. new chip coin vending machine 4. complete set of parking lot vacancy notification system for each floor Work is still in progress, I think they need to repaint the parking lot too... However there is also changes in parking fee. For first hour it is RM 3.50 now (instead of 3), second hour is RM 3.00, then RM2.00 for 3rd I think.... cant recall. Good to see that they are working on the car park which is in dire need to do so. I did not go to block C so I am not sure if the same thing is there.... but I should think it is. Anyone to add? OK, Part II I switched to end of 32L after the weather station. Met Mr Yong there... another spotter who memorize timetable and aircraft type... I kao-tao to him... We have: 9M-MRG 9M-MMR Then, a rare bird from Russian Transaero, in 762 9V-SVL Then the LH 346 9M-MKC flirting with tarmac... there is LOTs of bus at this time... Kuantan coming home to KL Is it me or Kangar has the port side light burnt? and, here are a collection of rubbers!!! wheels.. I love landing gears!!! baby boeing's: brother boeing's: father boeing's .. too bad I screwed up... pencil's pencil's brother... is that beacon that I got? Hi Gavin, Thanks for the intro... Well, since I missed the morning traffic I made it a point to go in the evening at around 4pm. As usual, I always have to reach the weather station when a wide body had just landed. So far I have missed 2 MH 744, 1 SQ 772, 1 CX, 1 Gulf air, or something like that.. its a gold color bus, thats all I recall... and so on... So after cursing at myself missing yet another MH744, I started working: 9V-SRI, at 300mm 9V-SRI, at 195mm KLM Asia at far away 9M-MME at 195mm (about 300mm for 35mm) 9M-MMW at 270mm (about 400mm for 35mm) B-LAB CX PK-MBX, Merpati 732 OK, I think I need to split the session up... Coming up, Part II... Went over to end of 32L, met Yong there. I think some of you know him. Thanks to him I stayed there till 2 more MH from London and HK to end my spotting day... Stay tune Ben-G

Ahh... another D50 in the club... goody good.. Mine is with Sigma 70-300 lens. Great cam and good lens. ignatius, I do not think there is a way to modify radio for ATC. Spotters uses radio scanners to receive (read: receive ONLY!!!) ATC. Find out more on www.radioshack.com unfortunately, radio scanners covers one of the frequency range that is not allowed to be listened to by public in Malaysia. do check out Malaysia custom's website for detail. I think taking into account of time he need to go to airport, board flight, fly, get off the plane, get on another car then goto airport, it might be even faster and convenient if he just drive from SG straight. Ben-G

I think upgrading the system is crucial. If KLIA were to seek more traffic to fly to KUL, one of the big turn of for airlines is going to be potential dangerous in flying INTO the airport itself due to poor and outdated system. no promotional package is going to help KLIA attract traffic if airline knows their asset and customer's safety is at risk. Ben-G

one word: tyres... makes one wonder how can 14 wheels take up the whole weight plus the pounding force of an fully loaded T7 while landing Ben-G

I cant help but admire the sea-gull wing from aft view. wonder when the flap goes fully extended will it scrape the main wheel on hard landing... yes imran, we know how the "happiest man in world" feels like.. I had the feeling when romeo delta did the low fly past. Ben-G

If MAS 777 Y class, try to get row 29. it is behind the wing, offers good view. but only 1 window though, and u have to squeeze ur head abit... but leg room is.. GOOD... why? because I sat there on my way to US. Ben-G

Saiful, thats a Maskargo they were in... a 742 i believe, still with analog dials. if u try VERY hard u probably can find a cigiratte lighter like those in our cars. Ben-G
