Georg Burdicek 1 Report post Posted May 12, 2008 Is there any chance to book a flight with Layang Layang's Short Skyvans? I'm in BKI next week, so it might be an opportunity.... Any hints or tips? I did not find any booking possibilities on the net... Cheers Georg

Cheers Georg I believe Layang-layang's Short Skyvans only fly to Layang-layang Atoll (Swallow Reef), which is located in South China Sea- 300km northwest of KK. It is mainly use to ferry divers & resort staffs between BKI and the atoll. Usually the flying is packaged together with the diving and accommodation which cost around RM 2700 per pax since my last check. Layang-layang official website. Layang-layang Atoll on Wikitravel. Oh, btw, Skyvan also being used for chartered, aerial survey and photography. Edited May 13, 2008 by kianhong

Rozhan 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Thanks for info about the fares. I did browse Layang-Layang's website some time ago but was dissapointed to see packages for divers only, which cost a lot for just sightseers. I hope to visit one day, just to see the very 'end' of the Malaysian frontier in that corner.
