Chaity 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 (edited) I think he may have flown commercial. There was a TG 772 at gate H2/ B2 MTB this evening, with a regular scheduled TG flight number on the BKK service. Mushrif A, you were right. Here's the news from NST "He came by commercial flight from Bangkok and was received by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim, his deputy Datuk Chor Chee Heung and other senior officials at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Samak's visit is part of an introductory tour of Southeast Asian capitals following his appointment as prime minister on Jan 28. He was accompanied by the kingdom's Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Jakrapob Penkair, as well as other senior government officials......" Ah Kong, you were not invited to become the translator since you brushed up your Thai months ago Edited April 24, 2008 by Chaity

Mohd. Helmi 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2008 Ooooo so that's why there was a number of Thai Arm Force/Air Force/Navy personnel arriving the day before Mr. Samak arrived. yah... would explain it, Samak is also Thailand's defense minister. Anyways, seems like a down to earth guy, made a unscheduled visit to a market in KL to see how much Malaysians are paying for food items, to calculate cost of living differences with the Thai's, good on the guy for taking a commercial flight. Perhaps he can tell our pm there's no need to purchase airbusCJ's for official visits.. hahahaa.
