Ibrahim 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Norman there are any Perlis Air Canival-last seen at my age of 12 i think because i am a lot involve in scout, that day Perlis have air scout that trained student to go flying with microlight...... i realy miss it.. ride the microlight and landing on half concrete and half grass runway .. I think Batu Pahat Airstrip no one use it anymore ... sometime we can see a fire department Heli Mi-17 park there... for the cloud seeding... and usually go there for paintball.. bang!! bang!! -sorry of topic a little bit- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Norman 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Ibrahim, I was there in 2001 and 2003... manning the flightsim demo in the only brick building in Sg Batu Pahat Airstrip... Since we were all "on duty", we missed all the "flying fun" especially the demo flight of TUDM's Alloutte by a good teh tarik buddy.. except the customary ride in C172/C206 of Kedah Flying Club before closing of carnival. Gavin, Most probably microlights, paragliders and kit planes, I guess, maybe one or two singles from FC or privately owned... Hazani, Since Saturday is schooling day for Jr now, most prob "Teh Tarik on you" in Nilai 3 on Sunday 18th...
