Norman 1 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Hurray!! Got my PC back with data disk ok... 'Cos I've downloaded the Friday session onto the hardisk just before the PC crashed and I wiped out the SD card for my Malacca trip... Anyway here are some from the disk... I don't have a scanner, so I've Jr to do the look out and "scan" the sky.. Some of the "catches" after "shouts" from Jr.. Then, Jr spotted "Antonov" with nose high... So we rushed to Weather Station... Before catching the "Ruslan"... this guy came in Then I zoomed in to the Cargo Ramp for this Guy... This is the one that Chaity caught on final... But nose already gone down... see the "cargo" on her right... For the "Cargo"... I actually had to use "digital zoom"... sorry... FZ5 cannot fix with the bazooka... and I believe, those guys in civilian clothes are "Russian"??? Chaity??? and being towed away... and later saw in Putrajaya for the Parade.. Felt like spy while taking these shots... hmmm hopefully I won't be prosecuted for these shots... So back to initial function of being in KLIA with Jr... For Gavin's collection... Azahan's style (almost there laa..) for 3-Holer Lovers... esp Chaity.. Another one Azahan's style for our friend from South Actually squatting down while shooting 'cos a police car just passed thru' in front... thus this shot of TF's aircraft And this guy had the reversers max till almost stop at CharlieFour, then exit, with reversers off, but spoiler still up.. Oh ya... My Jr Assistant graduated himself that day to this position And I think he loves the post since he stuck there till night shift... So Azahan.... still want to use the scanner, aa?? Chaity 1 Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Superb shots Norman especially seeing those cargo unloaded from the AN-124. You should stay more often in KLIA to spy for MW. There was a Transmile MD-11 in the afternoon and left after the arrival of AN-124. It seems another one landed while Norman was there. Norman, your scanner is really useful and no batteries required too. Good for you and junior, control tower seems to be your second home. More pics please in the future, thanks.
