zamim 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2014 Some one did ask about the registration of ex Air Atlanta/Saudia B747 parked at KLIA but I am not sure the title of the forum. Anyway, they are TF-ARM and TF-ARN
JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2014 Everytime I land at KLIA will pass by these three birds. So sad looking. May I know are they up for scrap? If yes, how can I buy one to keep as souvenir? There used to be four initially, all parked along each other. One had been scrapped I think.
SS Lee 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 How about the registration of this 747 also parked at KLIA looking very sad? Indeed it is sad-looking. Looks like it is tilted to one end and using its flaps as support (maybe eyes playing tricks with me). Left wing landing gear missing??

Isaac 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 They were once used for Haj flights, correct ? I flew on one of Air Asia B747-200 operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic 12 years ago!! from BKI to SZB. The Air Asia back then was in transition period from a full service airline to a low-cost carrier. It was one of the last few flights operated as a full service airline.
