Tom/PER 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 Hi All, As the topic title suggests does AK have A320 bases around Malaysia? Reason I ask is I was under the impression that their main base was in KL and they had smaller bases at BKI, KCH and PEN but I now realise this might not be correct as from what I can work out nearly all the aircraft end up back at KL overnight with the exception of some India flights. From recent obervations -AFA appears to be based out of BKI and when I was staying up in Kuching last March -AFG was in and out everyday without fail. I know QZ has bases in Jakarta and Denpasar. Walter Sim 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 AK Has mini bases in PEN, BKI, KCH, latest being JHB after they failed to lobby for a Singsporean AOC. Also AK needs places to park its planes , current LCCT is getting a bit out of hand. On top of your list for QZ I believe they have a base in BDO too although I might be wrong.
