JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2012 Japan Airlines has rolled out all new interiors with the delivery of latest B777-346ER. One word: WOW! http://www.jal.co.jp/newsky/ss7/first/
Isaac 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2012 Their new Business Class is the Business Class EOS Airlines had. It's been around for quite a while but not very popular. I think it's mainly due to the fact that this seat setup takes up a lot of spaces compared to other Business Class arrangement. Anyway, a huge improvement over their current B/E NEO angled lie-flag bed. Another thing worth mentioning is that seat pitch in Economy Class has been increased to from 31" to 34"!!! Isaac 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) JAL to install new fully-flat Business Class seats (Thompson Vantage) and Economy Class seat with increased seat pitch (from the current 31" to 34") on all B767-300ER deployed to US, Canada and Southeast Asia. The first refurbished 763 is scheduled to enter service on the Vancouver route this December. Looks like JAL will keep flying the 767 for sometime. New Business Class - 24 seats - fully-flat, Thompson Vantage seat, the same one DL has on their 763ER and 764ER New Economy Class - 175 seats - 34" seat pitch - seat width will be increased by 2cm - new large touch screen TV @10.6" For more information, please refer here - http://www.jal.co.jp/en/newsky/ss6/ Edited June 1, 2013 by Isaac
Cheng Kit 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Hope they will deploy the 767 with new equipment to KLIA by next year Edited June 3, 2013 by Cheng Kit
Isaac 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2013 Hope they will deploy the 767 with new equipment to KLIA by next year That is what they plan to do. For SEA cities that are not served by a 787, all will get this refurbished 767 by next year's end. Currently only SIN is served with 3x daily 787. In a way the soon to be refurbished 767 is better in both Business and Economy Class than the 787 because the new Business Class will be fully-flat and Economy Class will feature 3" larger seat pitch.
