Geoff R. 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 Does anybody know the identities of these two Antonov AN-2s at Segamat? The picture below, from flickr, was taken in 2005 and another picture I have found was taken in 2010. Are they are still there? Geoff R. 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 Partly answering my own question More photos of the aircraft here http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php/13281-Antanov-AN-2-Malaysia-May-2011 It would seem they are still present and are/were registered in Lithuania. Still searching for the serials under the wings! Geoff

Majdi 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2011 Very rustic, especially with the backdrop of the rice field...Nice find there! it's not a padi field, it's an airstrip adjacent to the Segamat Country Club. if you were to GoogleMap or Google Earth, Segamat Country Club... zoom in really close, you could see the two aircraft and two large Mil helicopters (can't remember the Mil series, but it's a large Russian helicopter..) on the air strip... i know, i saw them with my own eyes... looks like the Mil-17, i think...
