  1. What are the IDs of PK-AXU and PK-AXV ? PK-AXU has been in service since 31 Dec PK-AXV has been in service since 5 Jan One of them is believed to be ex 9M-AHL. ID of the other one unknown. All other AXM A320s were in service as of 5 Jan, except for AFB and AHA. Sources tell me that AHA is still with AXM but currently out of action after a landing accident at Kuching on Christmas Day. AFB has seemingly not flown since 2 Jan but 3 days is unlikely to be enough for the transfer to Indonesia branch (typically they take 2-3 weeks).
  2. AirAsia Philippines took delivery of their first A320 RP-C8190 in early November last year but not seen or heard anything about it/them since. Does anyone have any news, planned routes, status etc please? Thanks.
  3. I don't think that is the case here. 39323 is in the middle of a BBAM order block so the order was placed by them, not MAS. 9M-MLM is the first of a new "sub block" within that order block so may actually have Sky Int, but that's just a guess on my part. MSN.. BLOCK REG'N. VAR. 39319 YF129 9M-MLJ 8FZ 39320 YF130 9M-FFF 8FZ (9M-MLK NTU) 39321 YF131 9M-MLK 8FZ 39322 YF132 9M-MLL 8FZ 39323 YR091 9M-MLM 8H6 39324 YR092 9M-MLN 8H6 39325 YR093 9M-MLO 8H6 MAS' own ones are in 40128- block starting YR051-.
  4. @ flee, thanks. Any sightings of 9M-AQG yet? Was supposed to enter service yesterday/today according to my sources .
  5. Quick update : 9M-MLM 39323/3885 delivery planned for 12 Jan. First flight was yesterday as BOE091. This is a Babcock & Brown leased one, although it's an 8H6 and not an 8FZ like the others. 9M-MXG is currently overnighting at HNL flying as MAS5473.
  6. Also need "Putra 09" as well which is on the same route about 30 mins behind it.
  7. Hi SZB spotters. A rather mundane request, but one that's been on my wanted list for a long time. RMAF flight "Mega 14" is currently enroute from somewhere across the S China Sea into Subang at FL260. Would anyone be able to get the M registration for me when it arrives at SZB in around 1-2 hours please? Think it's probably a C130 at that flt level. Hope someone can help! Thanks.
  8. What are the 2 letters on the nosewheel doors of the Aerolineas please. Should be the last two of its Argentina reg. Thanks.

    BKI 2011

This is a rather a long shot given the time it'll arrive, but RMF857 is currently enroute to BKI across the S China Sea as I write and I would really appreciate the reg of it if anyone can help? The selcal code it uses has been on my 'unknowns' list for many many years. Flight was over LUSMO at 1222utc, with TERIX and OLKIT next. I expect ETA at BKI somewhere between 9.30 to 10.30 pm local time. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
  10. Hi guys, Do any of you have any info on VH-VBD ex Virgin Blue which came in to be prepared for Aerolineas Argentinas as N331LF? Apparently departed towards the end of November some time. Thanks.
  11. I wasn't aware that there was one! Link?
  12. Quick update fellas : 9M-MXG 40134/3873 FF planned for 5 Dec with del on 20 Dec.

    BKI 2011

According to SBS, 9M-FFB has been back in service with MAS since 18 Nov. 9M-FFC back in service since 15th. I'm assuming they are keeping their old Firefly regos then yes? Any recent pics?
  14. 2881 is PK-AXR not J . And the ex Air Berlin is 4917 . 4969 was going to be new build 9M-AQE but this will no doubt take up a different rego now.

    BKI 2011

No prob. With help from Sri Ramani K it's been Id'd as 9M-AQF, latest addition to the fleet, ex Indonesia branch as PK-AXQ.
  16. Flee & Sri. Ramani K. thanks for the info but how did you come to tie up 75027E to 9M-AQF please? Sri. Ramani K. do you have any pics of 9M-AQF please? According to my sources this is supposed to be a new build A320 from Toulouse, msn 4969.
  17. OK since writing the above I've now been able to confirm 750272 as 9M-AQE as the hex was on AXM6273 BKI-SIN yesterday and SIN movements shows reg as 9M-AQE. Just need the Malaysian reg of the new one from Air Berlin now. Edit to add: Due in at KUL at 1850 local this evening from BKI as AXM5129 if anyone can get down to KUL for the reg???????

    BKI 2011

If anyone can get up to the airport in the next 20 mins, the new mystery AirAsia A320 will be departing back to KUL as AXM5129. Reg anyone?
  19. Regarding these 'new' AirAsia A320s, would it be possible for you KUL spotters to note which flights they are operating when you see them so we can get the hex codes tied up? I strongly suspect that hex 750272 is 9M-AQE, the former Indonesia one but thus far been unable to confirm it due to lack of sightings. For some strange reason the hex is also pinging FY flights so there could be an FY aircraft with a miscoded transponder set to 750272 as well. These are the latest captures of 750272 if anyone can ID them please: Last recorded contacts 28 Nov 2011 09:19 AXM6273 at N1.12005 E103.88100 27 Nov 2011 14:38 FY665 at N0.00000 E0.00000 27 Nov 2011 10:50 FY664 at N2.98088 E102.05972 27 Nov 2011 10:50 FY8351 at N0.00000 E0.00000 27 Nov 2011 01:31 AXM5460 at N1.40010 E104.20200 26 Nov 2011 13:35 FY8351 at N2.63809 E101.93218 26 Nov 2011 03:10 FY8350 at N3.20096 E101.17975 26 Nov 2011 02:50 AXM6319 at N20.24900 E120.69700 26 Nov 2011 00:21 AXM6318 at N23.57280 E120.45700 25 Nov 2011 14:52 FY665 at N2.60050 E101.98916 There is another new AirAsia hex code on the scene now as well, 75027E. I suspect this could be the former Air Berlin A320 D-ABFX, msn 4917 which left European shores on 15 Nov enroute KUL. I have no info on the new Malaysian reg of this one - surely you guys must have seen it by now and can fill us in? Logically it would be 9M-AQF but this is assigned to a future new build A320, msn 4969. 20. No. They're all leased in the 9M-ML* block (the later ones at least). FZ is Babcock & Brown's customer code with Boeing. 9M-MLL/M/N are leased from them as well, but are adopting MASs customer code for reasons unknown. This happens with all other leasing companies except GECAS who refuse to let the airline use their own customer code, it's always their own - 6N. On a separate note, 9M-MXF delivers on Oct 19.
  21. Yeah finger trouble. And yes I'm aware that H6 is MAS' code but it's rather strange that BBAM suddenly changed it for the next batch.
  22. 9M-MLJ delivers to BBAM on 21 Sep and is leased to MAS. Expect it to leave BFI next day. 9M-MXF rolls out on 23 Sep with delivery expected mid October. More new leased ones coming via BBAM : 39323/4/5 9M-MLM/N/O 737-8H6 (note not 8FZ, strangely)
  23. Delivery for this has now slipped into August.
  24. More leased ones coming to MAS from Babcock & Brown. 9M-MLK will now be 39321, and 9M-MLL will be 39322. No del dates set yet and as they're leased ones they won't have Sky Int before anyone asks. 9M-MXE is set for delivery at the end of this month, but no actual date fixed yet. 9M-FFF left BFI on 28 June to HNL as FFM5203 for Firefly but I see someone already picked that one up in the Firefly thread. On a different note, if anyone knows any pilots flying the B738s 9M-FFD & 9M-FFE for Firefly could you ask them to file the flight ID in the FMC for ADS instead of transmitting the default "@@@@@@@@@" ID. Neither aircraft can be tracked until someone does!
  25. No date set for that one yet, hence why I've not posted it in the other thread yet. Roll out at RNT planned for 6 July so expect delivery around end of July.
