  1. Hi folks, Do any of you know where the SIN movements can be found now since the icargo site went offline? Really missing that great resource. Feel free to PM if you'd rather keep it 'off radar'. Thanks.
  2. Hi folks, Do any of you have any recollections of a RoKAF C130 at Langkawi back on 27 March 2017 arriving from Clark, then over to Labuan on/around 29 March and then up to Kaohsiung on 30 March. Any pics or sightings of which frame it was please? Thanks.
  3. Good shots KSong ! Thanks for uploading and sharing.
  4. PK-LQK departed Subang earlier today at 2055 local for CGK. Reportedly the former 9M-LRC. Can any of you confirm that 9M-LRD is still stored at KUL ? FR seems to suggest so.
  5. Gentlemen, I hear that 9M-LRF became PK-LQM with JT and departed Subang at 1830L today for CGK. Any info or pics? Not found any mention of it anywhere but the flight is there on FR24. Is 9M-LRD that's parked at KUL going to receive the same treatment?
  6. Thanks Tomper. I see 9M-LRF ferried over to Subang this morning. Storage or prep for JT?
  7. Any update on the status of 9M-LRF since its arrival into KUL from Tokyo on the evening of June 29 please? I've heard rumours it's being prepped for Lion Air and won't enter service with Malindo but I don't know how credible it is. Radzi, any info from your corner sir?
  8. Wow! What the heck is going on ?! That's the 3rd change in the space of just over a week! Seeing as it's now got Lion titles I'm expecting the tail to be stripped of the Batik pattern and get the normal Lion Air treatment, although that doesn't explain why they bothered with the Batik Indonesia titles and changed from the Malaysian to the Indonesian flag prior to fly-away. Jahur, please keep us updated sir.
  9. The Batk Indonesia oddball PK-LQJ flew across the ocean to HNL and is currently at Guam, which is odd as they usually use Pohnpei. @ Radzi, are the cost savings from using the island route enough to offset the extra fuel cost? The distance is considerably longer and the Alaska route is renowned for strong westbound headwinds for much of the year too : BFI-HNL-PNI-KUL : 9674 MILES BFI-ANC-NRT-KUL : 8235 MILES BFI-HNL-PNI-BIK-CGK : 9457 MILES BFI-ANC-NRT-CGK : 8498 MILES
  10. Just out of curiosity, is 9M-LRD still awaiting its own set of engines to arrive from CFM?
  11. The pic is up on tykes site now. https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/batik-indonesia-737-8-max-first-pic.html With due credit etc.
  12. Interesting developments over at BFI : https://twitter.com/TykesAeroBlog/status/878316267614085124 I've heard from one of my sources that the titles have been removed and it now sports Batik Indonesia titles instead. Hopefully some pics from the spotters will be forthcoming soon. It's interesting because Batik Indonesia and Lion Air don't share registration sequences and as PK-LQF is already in full Lion Air cs and the next two Maxes PK-LQH and PK-LQG have both been seen at RNT with evidence of Lion Air cs on their rudders, does this mean that LQJ is going to be an oddball in the sequence for Batik or is something else afoot here? Could Lion Air be rebranding as Batik Indonesia perhaps ?
  13. Gentlemen, the first Lion Air Max 8 is now painted at RNT, registration PK-LQF.
  14. 2nd Max on delivery according to Tyke's twitter with due credit - https://twitter.com/TykesAeroBlog/status/867094043137802240 & https://twitter.com/TykesAeroBlog/status/867099361926426626
  15. Interesting observation. Lion Air seem to have an aversion to certain letter endings as well, namely A-E, N or X.
  16. Thanks for the info Radzi. 9M-LRE missing? Do you still fly for MH or have you moved over to the dark side?
  17. Probably because it was originally due to go to Lion Air and the winglets had already been painted. Lion Group are known for swapping them around at the late stages of production. The yellow rudder is the base colour for Batik Malaysia before the pattern 'wrap' is applied over the top. It's also flying with a Malaysian hex code as well, fyi.
  18. All the Max frames are having their cowlings removed and repainted as there is an issue with the paint quality. Moving on, Malindo's 2nd Max is now painted and flew today wearing 9M-LRD. Tyke has a pic on his blog site (due credit) : https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.com/2017/05/batik-air-malaysia-9m-lrd-first-pic.html And Malindo #3 flew today, but still unpainted : https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.com/2017/05/batik-air-malaysia-737-8-9m-lre-pic.html Note that this one is going to Malindo and not Lion Air nor Thai Lion Air as reported on other websites. Lion Air's first -8 Max was snapped today too, being moved from the west stalls at Renton into the back compound : https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.com/2017/05/lion-air-737-8-max-pk-first-pic.html
  19. 9M-LRC ln 5948 first flight from Renton a couple of hours ago. Boeing 737 MAX 8 Batik Air Malaysia N60659 (9M-LRC) LN5948 by Huy Do, on Flickr Boeing 737 MAX 8 Batik Air Malaysia N60659 (9M-LRC) LN5948 by Huy Do, on Flickr More pics here ! - https://www.flickr.com/photos/cpthuy/
  20. Greetings gentlemen. Just seen on Flickr that 9M-LRC has now made an appearance fully painted up at RNT. Rumoured to be ln 5948 but not confirmed yet. Click for full size. Boeing 737 MAX 8 Batik Air Malaysia 9M-LRC by Huy Do, on Flickr By the way, the other one at the top of this thread is still parked in the same location sans reg. So there are now 2 fully painted. The other 2 -8s are parked on the west side of the runway - one is all white and other is all white with a yellow rudder.
  21. Greetings gentlemen, I've heard from a usually reliable source that the reg for the first Max frame 1A201 (l/n 5948) will be 9M-LRC. Tyke shows it on his blog on the 737 page as this reg as well, albeit with a question mark but his stuff is usually accurate. https://tykesaeroblog.blogspot.com Do we have any Malindo staff here that can offer some intel ?
  22. 9M-LCM coming now too. Departed BFI at 10.30pm last night and currently enroute Pohnpei from HNL.
  23. 9M-LCP is enroute. Currently enroute PNI from HNL. 9M-LCM is in short term storage at BFI still.
  24. From my sources at Seattle an hour ago. Please enjoy. https://flic.kr/p/SqNnE2 Unsure which frame this is - maybe 5948. Can't get a good angle to see the reg on it yet.
  25. Gentlemen, thanks for the info on the Malindo 737s. Still no sign of 9M-LCM moving at BFI.
