Hey Rudy, Thanks for shedding some lights for my doubt. I thought that if I am married, my chance would be slimmer or I wouldn't stand a chance at all to be selected as they need full commitment from their cadets so long to complete their training. Now that I knew I still have a chance to be selected. Now I'm wondering for MAS and AirAsia whether their policy is as same as SQ. Thanks a bunch Rudy. Happy Flying!

hi Rudy, Thanks for the info man..at least i have a clear view bout the age requirement for SQ cadet programme. Rudy, i'd like to ask this quest since you are an SQ pilot. DO they accept candidates that are married even though they are qualified enough? Thanks in advance Rudy.

Brennan, myb u should email the capt and asking bout ur application status... becoz, today, my fren received an sms from the capt asking why he did not respond to the email given and he also told my fren if he is still interested, juz inform him to take the test...

hello guys... juz wanna share some info... from postings that ive read from other forums, only 30 candidates did pass all the selection tests with 75%... those candidates were from the previous batch...

but there'll be a test for the staff as well this month..dont know when..myb that'll be the last test i guess...the test for staff + remaining candidates...just my 2 cents..=)

Sri...sorry to hear that...keep trying k! myb this round isnt ur turn yet..myb next time will be urs... well, fyi, my fren got 1A for mod. maths, add. maths, n also physics..in other words, he got all 1A for his elective subjects.. except for his Eng, he got 4B...but till now, he hasnt get any news yet...even a rejection email...n sumtimes he got morale down bcoz of this...pity him...=( neway, never give up trying k!!! cheers...=)

hi Sri, errmm..does that mean u've been rejected to sit for the 1st stage test or u've been eliminated after sitting for the 1st stage test? i'm asking on behalf of my fren..he's still waiting for the email though...

hi guys...juz wanna share wif u all...i juz received an email from Capt Subra to go for the 1st stage of the selection process...but, i wonder how the test would be like? i mean, subjective or objective...then, they said that it covers the SPM syllabus..does that means all the form 4 n 5 topic would come out? any ideas guys??? ermm...the test for the 2nd batch is planned on this coming 24th n 25th Feb...Cheers!!!

hi guys...i actually very2 agree with those who's like to be a pilot becoz of LOVE...my former english teacher always told me n my fellow frens with this phrase, "If u dont have LOVE in what u are doing, what joy will u get?" It is true that PILOTING is such an occupation to earn a living..but u will never satisfy with the job if u dont have LOVE in it..as for me, i'll put aside the salary which means, the LOVE to fly an aircraft comes first in me...if it is like this, then only u guys will satisfy with the job u are doing no matter what kind of occupation it is..Cheers and happy flying! =)
