Increase in building size is to handle more passenger traffic up to 45 million, but base on MAHB forecast, KLIA2 will reach 45m passenger traffic in 2028+-. event Airasia forecast KLIA 2 can reach 45m passenger traffic in 2020. seriously event i thinking KLIA2 is a bit small ...... If follow the klia2 project, final revised design only fix on 4th quarter 2010 after add new requirement from Airasia... 1st design is in 2009. construction just 2 year++ from 2011 to now reach 90% progress is quite good for an airport project, just MAHB over optimist on opening date.

Just wait and see, MAB is project owner, they should be more info on progress compare to PKR, new runway MAB early already said only ready end of Year. as long main pubic parking, main terminal and half satellite plus half of Apron ready should be ok to used liao. current LCCT only 32 gate KLIA2 have 72 gate.
