  1. hello again, I had to go out yesterday morning but I did spot the P8 made a brief reapparance a few times near ANIRU at FL205 before I left. Bit too far and low for good tracking, it is just under 200nm away from WBKK and I surely didn't notice it descend as I was too busy posting the findings yesterday here. Maybe it is doing some military training? Azlan, I recall they sometimes appear on FR24 as FAA traffic where there is up to 5 min delay, not live. Iif you seen a live one you must be very lucky because military aircrafts normally are blocked on FR24.
  2. Hello all... Not exactly plane spotting... but is radar spotting for me. Detected a P8 this morning after it showed up on my screen with no reg and weird flight number at FL305 close to waypoint PADLO. After some searching it was pinned down as a US NAvy P8. Detected around 01:05 UTC time today. And the plane should look like this... My first to have a military a/c showing up. Don't happen normally really. Nice to them to switch on their ADS-B. Btw the a/c was not shown on FR24 for obvious reasons. Appears to be heading for WSSS. Perhaps heading for the Singapore Airshow.
  3. will be nice to see them sometime in WBKK in the future..
  4. Happy Chinese New Year to you Wai Ping. Gong Xi Fatt Chai to everyone here too! Looks like a chartered flight B772 9M-MRC for the PEK-BKI route.
  5. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014 to all here!
  6. btw.. correction on last picture. NOT 9M-MWA, should be 9M-MYA. typo mistake sorry.
  7. a little bit of photo shot by just an iphone 4 and my point and shoot camera. Nothing like SLR so pics aren't that great. but hope you enjoy. waiting for plane to arrive. There goes a A320 in QPR livery. Other usual traffic like AA A320 and MAS B738 and Malindo B739 were present too. A bit quiet for the domestic side. There was no planes when I just entered the departure hall after security. I had a walk from gate A1 to A?14 just to have a feel of T1 WBKK. Definitely a bit quiet in the morning around 0850. T2 WBKK Air Asia side definitely has a bit more traffic despite it being smaller than T1! all aboard! AT75 9M-MWB bound to LDU can you spot the plane? and a beautiful view of KK on a beautiful day. closer view our beloved WBKK/BKI arial view Arrived WBKD/LDU Not sure what he is doing... and hang on, another ATR 75 in front? Looks like a punctured tyre, replaced. A normal wheel should be like this, with the wheel cover. Picture taken during the return leg of 9M-MWF 9M-MWE Return leg, powered by AT75 9M-MWF 9M-MWA parked beside on arrival to WBKK/BKI Enjoy!
  8. very nice pictures Samuel. Must be so nice to see a B747 so close up! Finally I see the Korean Air B747 here. Oh.. good to know also work seems to be really going on around the airport.
  9. no more B787 fo sometime perhaps after RBA's B787 last visit on the 30/11/13. Wish I could see it more often...
  10. wow.. fantastic pictures! and so many varieties. More to come I hope and please!
  11. safety first. you don't know there might be a thief around the corner. Doesn't that reminds you of a wall painting somewhere (removed)?
  12. Korean Air B747 parked at ?Bay1 T1 now ( at the corner where you can see it from the car park when you just enter KKIA)... hopefully a few pics to show here soon.
  13. brilliant pics of the RBA B787! 777 still is the bigger bird, but wow, the take off of B787, much quiet compared to all other planes!
  14. Thanks Jahur for the beautiful pic!! can't wait to see the plane with my own eyes...
  15. VP-CBE A332 with 16 passengers and crews at WBKK now. Appears all white... On another note... B787 coming soon to WBKK! Hopefully lots of pictures here... definitely going to see it on Tuesday evening 5/11/13.
  16. weather at WBKK haven't been great too almost persistent/daily rain for 2 weeks, only got better since 2 days ago... good shots still MdSaleh thanks for these good pics!
  17. Yup.. Please refer to skyvector that charts out ATC areas excellently if interested Wai Ping. But question is why SIN ATC make such request so B734 are not allowed in their airspace? Because as Jingkai Seah mentioned, Gading Sari operates B734 between west malaysia and east Malaysia. How about transmile air's old B722? I might be wrong but that should be even older than MAS's B734? (and for your info those B722 definitely is audible when they take off from WBKK... so noisy!) Or is it just passenger a/c affected by this?
  18. Exactly. Gonna to fantastic to see that bird with our own eyes at WBKK!
  19. Just an update: Flightaware also provides ADS-B hardware/software, please see link below: http://flightaware.com/adsb/request For those who got ADS-B hardware but not having planeplotter, you can apply via flightaware and have your ads-b data shared to flightaware. Why not give it a go?
  20. thanks for the info.. will be going to see it on the saturday!!!
  21. so nice of the flight deck crews to show the peace sign
