Emirates introduces 7th daily flight to Bangkok, effective 1st July 2016

Emirates announced 7th daily flight to BKK effective 1st July 2016, to be operated with B777-300ER (77W).


With the new addition, EK will fly BKK 3 times daily with B77Ws and 4 times daily A380s.

Total Daily Seats per cabin:

F: 66;

J: 412;

Y: 2762


Not forgetting, the other Middle East carriers also plying same route:

EY: 4x daily

QR: 4x daily

WY: 2x daily

GF: 1x daily

KU: 6x weekly

TK: 2x daily

RJ: 1x daily

SU: 1x daily

MS: 4x weekly.


Reading this news give me numb feeling, no wonder most legacy carriers are fighting for survival, except QR and EY.

Legacy carriers did not give sufficient respect to the ME3 when they came on the scene. Like LCCs, the ME3 grew quietly and are now so strong that they are difficult to compete with. That is why they are now asking their governments to restrict or even ban the ME3 from their countries!
