Rozhan 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2005 Maybe wind conditions i.e. tail wind that can result in significant time savings. Last time I flew from LHR to LAX and it took about 9 hours via the polar route (beautiful sight of the Arctic by the way....all over white with icebergs everywhere).
