In my opinion, B744 is just perfect in wing span (WS) : length (L) ratio as well as height (H) : length (L) ratio. Unlike the whale, its high WS:L and H:L makes it looks fat and short. Just think if A380 is to get the ‘perfect’ ratio as B744, its length ought to be 87.7m, which is 20% more of its current length ! Will love to see if the next generation of A380 will have the measurement closes to the ratio as B744.
