Effective 1 August 2015, Malaysia Airlines will cease complimentary access to the Miri Airport Executive Lounge for our front-end customers, Enrich members and MASwings customers.

Not that it was a great lounge (dark, gloomy atmosphere)...but it was better than hanging around outside in the relatively small waiting area...

No more Executive Lounge for Miri Airport then? One more thing I noticed about MAS post Sept 1. There will be less flights on the Kch-Myy and Myy-Kch sectors.The way to reduce spending is pay cut to high ranking personnel. Or reduce nitestops outstation like AirAsia did. maybe only nitestops at the main cities of certain state. Like for Sarawak, nitestop only in Miri and Kuching.

In hub and spoke model, night stop is essential. LH, AF, KL, BA, etc tend to have night stop for flight up to 2.5 hour flight time away to feed the morning outbound at home base.
