Know an aircraft engineer who will go through his work and his men's work at least 5 times before he will sign off the work, and take off with the plane for a test flight, even for a simple windscreen change. He never joked at work, but totally freaked out afterwork. I guess his 20K a month salary does have some drawbacks..
