Cire 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2013 I don't think this got to do with fear of flying but I do read some where that some prominent businessmen/women does not travel together on a same flight. Their immediate partners or family members would actually go on a separate flight. This may sound quite cave-men like, but these folks do it as an "insurance" in case one of them are involved in an air crash etc., there will be still a successor/s to run the business, or carry on the family's legacy. zamim 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2013 There are still a few people who will not fly due to fear. I new a person who delayed his Haj since he was afraid. Similarly, there are healthy people who will not step into hospitals for visits due to fear.
Alif A. F. 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2013 After the AF447 incident, one of the family members of the deceased told a news report that they travel separately from GRU to CDG. His wife travelled with one of their children onboard the fatal flight just in case one of them did not make it to destination.
