Bangkok Airways released a statement saying it would stop flying to Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam, the two Chinese cities of Guilin and Xian and Hiroshima in Japan. 'Bangkok Airways announced it would suspend services to Ho Chi Minh City, Xian, Guilin and Hiroshima... to adapt to market conditions,' the statement said. It said the services to Ho Chi Minh City and Xian would stop on October 25 while flights to Hiroshima and Guilin would halt on October 27 and November 10 respectively. In June Bangkok Airways signed a code-sharing agreement with Air France to allow the French carrier to serve six new destinations in Asia on flights operated by its Thai partner.
