Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority spokesman Brian Belcher says Flight 2294 was diverted to Yeager Airport and landed shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday after the hole appeared in the rear of the plane. Belcher says passengers could see the outside through the 1-foot-by-1-foot hole. He says the plane, which originated in Nashville and was headed to Baltimore, landed without incident. No one was injured. Officials are investigating what might have caused the damage.
