US air logistics provider makes Senai its regional hub

Just saw this piece of news in --> The Star

 

He he, it was the "PAS aircraft" we saw last year in KUL. Hopefully, KUL or SIN spotters will see their aircraft doing maintenance in KUL or SIN

He said this at an agreement signing between Logistic Air and Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATS), which was represented by deputy chief operating officer Shahrull Allam Shah Abdul Halim.

 

Logistic Air will relocate its main overseas base, operating since 2001, from RKT International Airport in the United Arab Emirates to Senai Airport this year.

 

Founded in 1999, Logistic Air owns nine Boeing 747 Jumbo airplanes and leases them to airlines and charter operators to carry cargoes and passengers.

 

Cooyar said for a start, the company would focus on leasing its aircraft to operators carrying the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia as demand for such services surged during the haj season.

erm...so far i havent noticed any of the maintenance companies here....but not too sure though...will try to figure it out
