Tarmizi 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 These are few shots on Sept 28 during the Antartic Festival 08 @ International Antartic Center , Christchurch NZ. This was the opportunity too take a close look at this giant C-17. This plane just recently made a historic night landing on antartic using night vision goggles ( open up more frequent flight in / out of antartica) This machine flies to/fro between Christchurch and the US McMurdo Base on Antarctica The Tail Close-up on the awesome engine People line-up to peek into the cockpit to be cont'ed Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Cargo Load Control station "Just push this thing forward and this beast will jump n fly" "Dad I'll fly this one day or I can fly one in you computer" let the pilot take the picture and I have the control... The previous exp. was only on MH 747 jumpsit during cockpit visit while it was flying over Pacific from LAX to Subang. Thanks for sharing, Tarmizi.... So ... still with 738... or changing cockpit to C17 now?... Yup.. Still with 738 Norman.. , or other option A320.
