How come there are no codeshare flight being shown on the new system.. ? The old ones did shown CX and JAL flight together with MH flight.

AF & LH both serving SIN with A380, probably KUL won't get that big bird but well, who knows? If they have chosen KUL as the hub. =)
LX & AY have both returned to SIN nonstop, not expecting LX, but is hoping AY & OS could return to KUL.
From my crystal ball... I do foresee AY, AB and maybe even IB coming to KUL as well

I dont think its official yet..., hence no news on our local newspaper. besides it is still not available in their reservation system. Even though i would love to see AF fly to KUL i belive in the end it will just be a codeshare with MH especially with MH plan to send A380 for CDG-KUL route.

from the looks of it i think it can be completed by April 2013, but whether it can be operational by then thats a diffrent question.

If QR/DOH pax profile is similar to EK/DXB, fewer than 20% of pax originating/terminating at DOH/DXB. Implying MH is missing out ex-KUL demand, incapable to cater for ex-KUL pax or both.
Not only MH, even SQ cannot beat both QR/EK in terms of connectivity to SIN and vv. If im not mistaken, SQ didnt even serve DOH but QR having 2x daily flight to SIN.

Last year I flew QR, KUL/OSL return, for RM1281 nett. 5-star FSC some more.
Is that even possible??

I which case, how is one to know what the FSC fare is supposed to be ?
not really accurate comparison but their flight to VTE can be more expensive than MH flight to BKK. Which by right should be cheaper esp. with LCC tag on them??

If given the opportunity they will charge FSC fare for LCC price. It has happened before.
Worst thing is that sometimes they are charging FSC for a destination that MH did not serve.

That is a very interesting development ... do you have a link to the article or somewhere that ties MAS' decision not to deploy the A380 to Sydney to this development?

Nope.. the article just saying that KLM will have a codeshare with EY to MEL and SYD.. nothing said about their tie up with MH and there is no articles saying that is one of the reason on why MH pull back A380 for that routes. just a wild guess maybe..??

Read in one of the article on AF/KLM & Etihad tie ups that KLM will have a codeshare with EY on SYD and MEL. Is that one of the reason why MH axe 380 plan for those route...Not enough feed for the SYD & MEL?? Having said that will we see the end of KLM & MH agreement for the kangaroo route?

Not sure why BA plan to have a codeshare with QR when their Australia destination very limited(daily MEL, 3weekly Perth) compare to CX or MH. Don't think within a year they can suddenly serve SYD/BNE/ADL with daily service.

^^ maybe one of the way they show middle finger to QANTAS for their tie up with EK?? hahaa. So, if double daily for KUL-LHR and daily KUL-CDG-KUL, we will not see any A380 service for Oz route. Even NRT get axe as well. IMO, MH definately need to buy 3 or 4 more of A380

Im with Edwin with this one.. Livery looks nice to me.. China southern colour is boring and same with Lufthansa.. But Thai is a bit nicer compared to MH.. This 'nu skool' colour doesnt fit to everyone I guess..
same with me... tho i still not yet see it myself. I particularly like the round shape when the two side joined with each other.... kinda of remind me with one of those aircraft from Star Trex.

IMHO, i think MH shld handover all its domestic flight to FY and let FY to operate smaller aircraft type?? like Embraer/Cseries ? Well maybe not all... MH can still fly to high demand routes from KUL to PEN/LGK/BKI/KCH... Jet operation for FY should feed MH regional/international routes at KLIA while still keeping their turboprop operation at SZB. Then it will help to free up some of 738 for more expansion for its ASEAN/China/India routes. Just a thought

From my experience, i found out that the crowd flying with MH/SQ/CX they are behaving quite good especially for long haul routes as compare wih crowd in QR/EK in Y of course
