  1. AF & LH both serving SIN with A380, probably KUL won't get that big bird but well, who knows? If they have chosen KUL as the hub. =)

     

    LX & AY have both returned to SIN nonstop, not expecting LX, but is hoping AY & OS could return to KUL.

     

    From my crystal ball... I do foresee AY, AB and maybe even IB coming to KUL as well :D


  2. If QR/DOH pax profile is similar to EK/DXB, fewer than 20% of pax originating/terminating at DOH/DXB. Implying MH is missing out ex-KUL demand, incapable to cater for ex-KUL pax or both.

     

    Not only MH, even SQ cannot beat both QR/EK in terms of connectivity to SIN and vv. If im not mistaken, SQ didnt even serve DOH but QR having 2x daily flight to SIN. :)


  3. That is a very interesting development ... do you have a link to the article or somewhere that ties MAS' decision not to deploy the A380 to Sydney to this development?

    Nope.. the article just saying that KLM will have a codeshare with EY to MEL and SYD.. nothing said about their tie up with MH and there is no articles saying that is one of the reason on why MH pull back A380 for that routes. just a wild guess maybe..??


  4. Im with Edwin with this one.. Livery looks nice to me.. China southern colour is boring and same with Lufthansa.. But Thai is a bit nicer compared to MH.. This 'nu skool' colour doesnt fit to everyone I guess..

     

    same with me... tho i still not yet see it myself. I particularly like the round shape when the two side joined with each other.... kinda of remind me with one of those aircraft from Star Trex. :D


  5. IMHO, i think MH shld handover all its domestic flight to FY and let FY to operate smaller aircraft type?? like Embraer/Cseries ? Well maybe not all... MH can still fly to high demand routes from KUL to PEN/LGK/BKI/KCH... Jet operation for FY should feed MH regional/international routes at KLIA while still keeping their turboprop operation at SZB. Then it will help to free up some of 738 for more expansion for its ASEAN/China/India routes. Just a thought :D
