  1. Sorry, no offense to A350 fans out there if i cause any misunderstanding. I like the A350 too. Let me reiterate my point again, i do not feel the A350 is inferior, but rather I prefer the features that B787 offers. Your opinions, TW Teo are taken and I honour them. Sorry boeing fans out there, but I do not meant it to be an Airbus bashing thread but one where people from both camps are able to evaluate both aircraft honestly and share their views. It is also a thread where we will be able to learn from both sides of the view. Cheers
  2. Hi guys, I would juz want to gather ur opinions about this two planes. I know there are supporters for both planes . My personal preference would be the 787. Really like the fact that the fuselage is a composite body made in a single piece and best of all the HUD panel. Plus the design is juz so sleek, some people think that the nose id kinda short and compressed but i think the aircraft is juz so BEAUTIFUL on the whole. Despite so i think the original design was nicer, Boeing made changes to it especially the tail to improve overall dynamic efficience. 787 has got a bleedless engine, I can juz continue. lol. I think the A350 is a great aircraft but my preference lies with the 787. Since both planes are still rather new, my opinions might juz change.
  3. Yah agree with most of you that 747-8 is the nearest to A380 in terms of capacity but airliners are not rushing to buy it despite the delay in deliveries for A380 for some reasons. One is that the 747-8 will not be delivered in time even if orders are made right now, the A380 will be delivered faster even after the delay. The other reason is that the airliners are being paid huge compensation for the delays so at the end of the day and they pay like really little $$$ for each A380. Despite all the compaints and naggings, the airliners will stick with the A380. Look at SQ and you will know what I mean, they mention cancelling orders as being one of the options, but they will not do it. So for A380 supporters out there, no worries, it is juz a temporal problem before we get all those planes in our airports. Cheers
  4. There is no doubt who my fav airline is: Singapore Airlines!!!!!!!!!! Followed by Emirates and Cathay Pacific
