  1. Thanks guys! I called up customer service and they told me that passengers were required to climb a flight of stairs. They are probably not too sure about the operations for flights from KUL for now.
  2. Capt, do you know if they will be using the aerobridge for boarding? I wanted to book a flight for a disabled passenger but I wasn't able to as I was told that they would need to climb a flight of stairs.
  3. Still no ETA on SECDEF's arrival?
  4. I thought I saw this plane flying over my house today. Ian is like the 'Sri Ramani K' of SZB. Was that shot using a 300 or 400mm? I don't remember being able to get so close with my 300mm though.
  5. Will sure do! (If I'm not too sleepy since the flight's at 0655hrs). I even got the emergency exit row so that I can get a picture of its winglets. From the artist impression, it seems that the FireFly logo will be painted on the inside as well. Apparently, they won't be using the aerobridge despite being in KLIA. I was enquiring regarding disabled passengers and was told that one needs to climb the stairs to board the plane. Anyone can confirm?
  6. I just got myself on their first flight out to BKI on the 15th
  7. So where will the B738's come from? MAS' leased ones?
  8. I don't think you can. I'm trying to cancel it too but can't find a 'cancel' button.
  9. B738?! What happened to taking MH's old B734 fleet. Just saw the ad on their website. Any idea when is KUL-BKI starting?
  10. What are the odds of him coming into SZB?
  11. And I thought they were bringing some high rollers over. Is there a reason why they park it at Subang? Lower cost?
  12. If he's flying to Australia first then chances are it'll be the E-4B. Any idea where it'll be heading to? Just hoping that it'll come into SZB instead of KUL. Apparently, he is accompanied by a C-17 or two whenever he travels. Can anyone confirm that? Some photos of the An-124 and the 747 SP. I had to stitch two pictures to get this image! Full details of who to contact if you ever need such a cargo transporter. Look at the number of wheels! I can't imagine the An-225. The Las Vegas Sands 747SP.
  13. You mean the An-124 AND the 747SP is here? Genting having a high rollers night this weekend?
  14. According to BBC, SQ's A380 fleet will be delayed pending technical checks.
  15. That's a BIG chunk of the cowling that went missing. Whatever it is, those pilots can collect their salary this month knowing that they deserved every single cent although it may have been just a 'simple' single engine flame-out landing. Kudos to them! If none of you guys saw this, http://yfrog.com/0quh4dj Credits to: @ulfw
  16. Normally a 24 hour or less stopover. Its been here quite often lately. I wonder why. Nice catch! Good to know that someone caught her! Would've gone myself if it wasn't for my exams. Defence Secretary Gates is coming next week so we might be able to catch another USAF plane again. Hopefully its the E-4B that'll be coming along.
  17. From what I got on Twitter, QF32 was involved but it's back on the ground in Changi already. Parts of the plane fell over Batam. *UNCONFIRMED*
  18. Any idea how long it'll be here this time? Hope to be able to catch it later.
  19. I don't remember seeing so much xwind on the landing although I do remember seeing the wheels on the starboard side touching down first. I guess you had a better angle compared to mine. Nice video!
  20. I saw this on CNN this morning! I'm wondering if MAS will ever have a female pilot in its ranks.
  21. 99-0003 is actually a C-32A not C-32B. C-32B is 99-0001I don't get how the USAF name their planes. If security is as tight as what Ashmil Abd. Ghani described it to be, I guess it won't be easy to catch her departing.
  22. My bad. I googled C-32B and there was one with no markings (Rego:00-9001) so I thought that was the one. Now I have an excuse to go to SZB again. Any idea where its parked and what time is it departing? I've got exams on the morning of the 3rd
  23. That aircraft does not have the trademark blue and white markings with the USA words on its fuselage right? Not worth trying to get that then. Thanks anyway!
  24. 15/11. KUL-BKI as MH5432 @0855 hrs and apparently on to HND. If you're thinking of catching the flight to BKI, it's fully booked
