is it just me or the new thales remotes are a rip off of the panasonic remotes? hope someone out there can provide a trip report if they rode KE's first 777-300ER hehehe

Here's what the new economy seats look like on a 772ER...with Panasonic's ex2 IFE system But with KE choosing Thales for the 777-300ER, the remotes and screens will look different.

Thanks Jenah! I've read those articles already. It's confusing because some 772ER's already have the new business and economy seats. and like isaac said, they do have the panasonic system. Perhaps the promotional pics were made before KE made the decision to get Thales. There's also a new promo pic of the new business seat in the KE Americas site. The remote on the seat is clearly Thales.

Thanks for the reply According to some press releases from Thales, Korean Air's new 777-300ER would be having Thales IFE. I know some of the 777-200ER's that have the new economy seats have the Panasonic eX2 system in them. I'm confused.

Hello. I'm new to this forum =) Anyone know anything about Korean Air's new Thales in-flight entertainment that they'll be having in their 777-300ER? Does that mean a new interface, and more movies, channels, etc?
