Denny,
What more can I say other than
-
Raymond,
Great capture of the Star Alliance series. Hopefully the A3UGLY, when it is no more delayed will come in 1 Star Alliance livery for all to see as well. Also not to forget the B773ER in Star Alliance as well.
-
Certainly looks great be it with the A3UGLY tail or not. I cannot wait to lay my hands on this long beast with its EFB onboard. Please do not make me wait any longer. Scheduled to operate to CDG departing SIN on Dec 1st 2006.
-
Sometimes I cannot understand. How can SQ consistently fill up its A345 and B744 flights to the brim with many left stranded on standby lists and MH strugle to fill up its seats. It can only make SQ look even better and also help fill up even more seats on the SIN-KUL shuttle flights.
-
Maybe one more free A3UGLY for SQ this time or some freebies in the form of A350XB. This is getting bad.....very bad. Lost revenue in unforeseen shrink in capacity. Looks like no new toys for me in coming year's bonus.
-
Ricky,
Great shots of SQ there yah. I myself looking forward to NZCH now as there is a reduced frequency going in there, which equates to a longer stay. Meaning spotting oppurtunity.
Keep em coming in the summer OK?
Cheers.
-
TK,
Congrats on passing your base check. I called the BOX as BRAIN FRYERS. Ace the check right?
Nice working bag you got there buddy, but confirm you bring all the books to work every flight? Hehehe..
As for me, I am headed to the town where Zidane headbutter currently resides for a few days now after busy taking delivery of my 'Japanese Roadliner'.
Fly safe buddy.
-
Not enough sleep kah? Next time do Autoland OK after a tiring spotting trip in Japan. Hehehe........for me....no hard landing....cuz someone else did all the landings. Phews
-
Lovely Japanese tails there bro. As for me, no walk around pics today on departure from NRT and also BKK. Super duper lousy weather as compared to what we had yesterday. And many many thanks to YK for showing us around as well.
I am completely thrashed rite now after doing this SIN-BKK-NRT and vv. Got to get some rest. Rest well yah TK.
-
Chaity,
Thanks for taking my pics there. I believe I was seated just above the aft cargo door there and posing for your to 'CLICK CLICK'.
Have not meet you in person. Planning to come back for a full day spotting. Hope to meet you soon. And great lovely shots on all, expecially the 'Racing series'. Cheers.
-
SVH? I just flew it back less than 24 hours ago from Johannesburg. Very healthy plane with nil defects. Looks to be pretty hot yah. THUMBS UP!!
-
Ricky,
Thanks for the SQ shot. Just flew SVA recently back to KUL. Hope to get to NZCH soon for some spotting action. Cheers!
-
Imran and Chaity,
Thanks for the SVA. Yes, indeed I was on that plane for my short stay back in KL now. The ride was uneventful by all means but the landing shot was priceless. I was seated at 53K peering out for some spoters at O** H*** but i saw no one. You guys shotting from inside the bushes ah?
Could have joined you guys if I had known. Rest assured that I am planning to be back again one of these days arriving and leaving back to Singapore and spent one full day just for spotting in KLIA.
More please.......
Oh, Imran, Liyari Briyani?
Inside my stomach. All processed into sh** already. Flushed and turn into NeWater by Singapore government. Next time OK?
-
Cantik! AKL here I come.........but not in my roster yet...hopefully October can see it. More please??
-
Captain, thank you. Terima kasih. You sure look outstandingly handsome with your strking clothing color you had. That's why it caught my eye. Hehehe.....
Next time you come Singapore I shoot you OK? Let me know in advance.
-
Today I was in KLIA two times. Was in control of the Boeing 777-200 for the first two sectors, SQ110 inbound and SQ111 outbound. And as I taxi past the plantation area in front of the KLIA express railway line, I saw a man there. And he was holding a camera pointing at me. Captain, where is my photo? How come you never acknowledge when we blink the taxi turnoff lights a few times? Busy click click kah? Please do not show pictures of my atrocious landing OK?
-
SQ crew not friendly?? But I am SQ crew leh. I not friendly meh? Hehehe.......cheers guys. Singapore Girl advertistment for A3UGLY coming soon with a 7 minute advertistment. And it features our own Tanjung Malimproduct. YEAH!!
-
YK, for you!! Arigartor for the pics. Certainly one of my favourite airlines captured in one of my favourite airliners, A346.
More please.....

Crisis indeed. And A3UGLY is really making a mess out of the situation. Not only with the fleet, but also with crew planning and movement as all has been well planned much much earlier (Always SQ way of doing things).
Reason for the replacement of services to HKG with a Triple? The B744 fleet is dwindling down at a very very fast rate. Over the last month, I have seen three such aircraft being converted into Iberia colors at SIA Engineering complexes. Believe it or not, the late delivery of the A3UGLY has actually shrinked the load capacity of SQ group because of the late delivery and the company has promised to sell out X amount of aeroplanes before they knew of the delay.
As such, SQ could not turn back from its Sale agreement and in the same time could not find any replacement aircraft. And bear in mind if the replacement is ever to be acquired, it has to be the same standard configuration as all other SQ aircraft or passengers will fell odd when they step on board. How come differet settings arh? Hence the situation of SQ 866 and ZRH/MAN shuttle has to be pulled out. Hopefully Airbus can compensate back on the lost revenue, especially on the ZRH-MAN vv sector.
As with B744 services to MEL, I think it will be all over come November possibly. It will be replaces entirely by B777-300ER. That is good news to me as I have not been to MEL for the last three years. Now who has been flying these sectors? So where does the SQ B773ER goes to? Initial destinations, MEL, CDG and ZRH. Oh, I am attending a two day course on how to operate the aircraft using N1 as primary thrust settings and a course on Electronic Flight Bag as it will be first in the fleet to be fitted.

Anyway any plans to do a last shootout at Don Muang?
Let me know if you guys are headed North. I will try to join.
-
Kevin,
Congrats congrats!
Gong Xi Gong Xi!
Kung Hei Kung Hei!

WiseOne is really wise one. Walking encyclopedia to all my queries. Kudos and kow tow to you sir!!

'Singapore Girl' branding for advertistment. Yeah. Very good. Better news for all of us here. One of my good friends have been selected as the worldwide advertistment 'Singapore Girl' A380 promotion. Hmm.......looks like I will see her face in the streets of Orchard Road and Big Apple in New York. And she comes from the small sleepy town of Tanjung Malim, Perak, MALAYSIA!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!
Yes, our pay is the lowest in the industry (Comparatively). But on a package as a whole, inclusive of bonuses, equipment, work environment , safety, and operating patterns, it is definitely 'THE' place to be in. Not too bad at all. At least the company is making money and no one man's rice bowl will be sacrificed. Job security is always there.
My SGD$0.02 view.
Attan aka WiseOne, any idea why people always say my two cents worth of opinion? And not any other cents??

Better go enjoy my final BKK flight at Don Muang on the 3rd before it closes for good.

MEL and CDG are one of the very first few stations to come online for B773ER as the B744 is really running short at the moment. (As captured in the forum on Oasis Airline based in HKG). As for me, common rating. Only difference is we set power using N1 instead of EPR as there is no EPR gauge in rolls the huge GE115 engines.
