  1. Good catch by Bob and Hon Kit. That shot of the former Air Finland B757-200F is precious ... full of battle scars from its PTF conversion. If only we had advance information of such visits ... sigh.

Hon Kit : Nice shot of the Air Pacific B744 ... I get the feeling that Air Pacific's B744 might just not last too long. So good that you got it in quite good light, bearing in mind that a period of rain had just passed the area.

Thanks KC . Yes , I was very lucky that day. The Air Pacific light just came at the right time. Before that was just terrible.

However, Air Pacific livery was really beautiful. I thought that the livery on 767 that i caught for the first time was beautiful, and now seeing in 747 was even better. :good:

  2. Ya, they just mention not sucessful without any reason :(

so should I attach the resume and apply again? or they need some period of time for those who failed for the first interview??

In the email they did mention that why i did not make it for the first round though.

In my case they mention that I will only be graduating in 2012 that they could not put me on hold for an indefinite period. So they cant take me this time. However, if i am still interested, i can reapply for a fresh application after i graduate.

  4. Malaysia Airlines Group has embarked on a network rationalisation programme, which will see its subsidiary, Firefly, concentrating on serving short-haul turboprop operations, while Malaysia Airlines, focuses on enhancing its premium full-service offering. Firefly’s turboprop operations will remain unaffected by this exercise. Please see the list of affected routes here.

The Group is committed to minimising any disruptions to the travel plans of Firefly jet passengers and will reassign all those affected to equivalent flights or better, at no additional cost, to ensure they reach their intended destinations.

Firefly is in the midst of contacting passengers personally to assist with the re-accommodation; passengers with queries can also email customer_care@fireflyz.com.my with booking confirmation numbers for clarification.

  5. hi mates.

Is there any other place where we can spot aircraft taking-off at runway 32R?

    other than the lakeside.

Lakeside is the only spot that you could get taking off shot. Unless from Anjung Tinjau that Ac rotate super early.

Or you would wanna risk yourself going to the Observation hill.
