Just eat your meal before going to the airport, have some buns or cookies with you. BKK flight is two hours at most, not a long haul flight.

    Wow, what a reply :D

Sorry, didn't know flight duration and lounge use are related 🤣

klia express and kl mrt are both on standard gauge. it may be financial feasible to extend mrt to klia or mrt corp to take over klia express.

Or the flipside, extend ERL to Seremban and more.

  3. Just want to say I've flown 4x in recent weeks for Raya and a short BKK trip. Good experience in general and service top notch.

The KUL-BKK sector was particularly good and I'm not joking when I say the omelette breakfast was a 10/10 for me :D

I hate to compare, but AK has just been so disastrous for me lately that maybe the slight improvement from MH was just felt much more.

If you want to be taken seriously on the international stage, you have to play by international standards. Running a dry airline relegates you to the same bin as SV/MS/KU etc.

I guess that's the same line of thinking when Qatar hosted the World Cup.

They haven't exactly been subtle with their goal to take on the ME3. How do you think they'll compete by being Saudia 2.0?

Is alcohol the only defining factor to compete against ME3?

It may happen, I'm just saying I will be totally shocked.

Thus far, all information are pointing towards Riyadh Air is "liberal" airline, alcohol will be served. Saudia remains dry airline. Riyadh Air will be based at Riyadh, Saudia at Jeddah. Flyadeal, Saudia low cost subsidiary is currently based at Jeddah too. Another LCC, flynas is currently based at Riyadh too.

It will be suicidal for Riyadh Air to be dry airline if they want to attract all the Westerners, yuppies and expats. They are planning to outdo Dubai and Qatar with the Vision 2030 plan.

I will be shocked if this new airline serves alcohol.
