  1. To be honest I think LCCT is better. Because you know what you are getting. It was built for LCC.

T2 - What exactly is it? It's not really low cost, but all the features are striped away. It's poorly built, ugly, and the design and flow is freaking terrible. Don't even get me started on immigration...

We really had a big opportunity to build something right to cater for the LCC boom but failed spectacularly.

MH has canceled several flights to/from Sarawak and Sabah due to Mt. Ruang's eruption in North Sulawesi. You'd think that this would be more prominent on their website but no, it's like a small rotating ticker at the top.

Speaking of disaster-management, a friend is stuck at DXB because EK have been poor in communicating issues as well. However of course the magnitude in scale is much more significant :D

I believe it was 2019 that the then PH government introduced the departure levy after swapping GST for SST (because GST casts a wider net compared to SST and there was significant shortfall). This is supposed to mimic UK's APD. It's supposed to be based on the passenger's final destination (e.g. TG's KUL-BKK-HKG departure levy should be the same as KUL-HKG on MH/CX/AK) rather than the first international destination. I have seen fares where it was calculated based on the first international destination instead of the final even though it's a <24H transit at the ASEAN city.

Ah, okay. I was confused between the PSC and Departure Levy.

MH indeed are the biggest losers. I liked their sarcastic argument a few years back saying they should move to KLIA2 as well

Mahb is maximizing revenue rather than giving public service e.g charging grab driver.

I agree with most if not all criticism of MAHB/KLIA but I'm not sure how them charging a premium for the most desirable parking spots is anything wrong. Especially as the other parking spots aren't exactly inconvenient.

If MAHB wanted to "maximize revenue" then they should make PSC rates equal to its regional peers. Not sure how they can compete with the likes of BKK and SIN who charge RM97 and RM232 for flights to KUL while we only charge RM40.

Yes, I was thinking the same actually. Was googling for MVB and MVC photo, but couldn't find any, even those at the Boeing production site. Perhaps the reporters heard Izham said they WERE supposed to get FOUR this year, but due to recent grounding and rework only TWO will arrive this year.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks, but it really bothers me that on just one side of the plane, there are three different Waus.

    1. The tail Wau, which is non-Italic (I think the retro Wau)

    2. The winglet Wau, which is Italic (The present Wau)

    3. The "Sustainable" something something Wau near the door, which is in the opposite direction of the other Waus,

Just eat your meal before going to the airport, have some buns or cookies with you. BKK flight is two hours at most, not a long haul flight.

    Wow, what a reply :D

Sorry, didn't know flight duration and lounge use are related 🤣
