    Mayb Airasia want to have full load landing n depart

    b3 extension of runway of sibu airport which was 1983M,

    airasia nvr land its A320 until the runway bcomes 2745M...

     

    BTW, pls make sure there is an agreement of any airline to promise they will operate at thr b4 any expansion!

    look at MKZ!

    the terminal better move to SIBU airport!

    n i wonder y SIBU airport got diff treat than those small airport...

    First and foremost it is wrong to list Sibu-KK route as rural.It is intertown such as Sibu-Kuching and Miri-KK.

     

    And few mistakes were found in the newspaper excerpt. "AirAsia flies from Sibu to Kota Kinabalu daily, using the Airbus A380 which has a capacity of 180 passengers." AirAsia doesnt have A380 in their fleet and A380 does not fly 180 passengers.

     

    "A bit costlier, but the capacity was there - two Fokker flights and two AT7 flights, he said."

    AT7? ever heard of AT7 aircraft? Hurmm..Typical reporter just simply write.

    AT7 is ATR 70 lo

    in mas schedule all listed ATR as AT7

    AK one flight can take over all capacities tat maswings offer :rofl:

    1800m actually is enough to land b737 and a320 or no?

    sibu airport's runway b4 extension is just 1983m, but MH B737-400 can land on it.

    n btw,i tot the runway is extended to 21xx till september?

    y now bcome 1800?

    mean currently runway is just extended from 1362m to 1476m? @.@
