one more ... KUL - MIRI
-
MH also reduced KL sibu from twice to daily starting from JULY..
transferring. ....
-
If there is domestic performance for KLIA, i think it is more interesting as at least 3 routes will be at >1m passengers chart
But, y MAHB dun want to include that in the annual report?
-
Good analysis , but I wondering if KL - Singapore route has become world 10 busiest route by passengers or no?
-
Good job, i rather read this 1st b4 the real annual report!!!!
-
It is obvious... AK 6712/3
-
the cheapest fare for 738/734 is still KL-KK and KL-KCH launch ... RM9 NETT
now they seems force passengers to buy the standard package ...
the fare is even more exp than RM29 one ...
excluding those who will 100% take the standard package for every flights
-
i will choose KBR rather than this ...
-
Regarding the FY will take over the MAS domestic route, it is still not been confirmed right?
yea, it is not confirmed yet. But what I seen from FY reply, seems myy route will be served by MAS permanently ..
-
oic, so ATM thr is no new 738 for FY lo?
-
may i know FFB is a new plane or leased? coz the interior and the seats are really look old ...
and a weird thing is, FY is planning to take over MAS domestic route, why they axed KL MYY route and say the route will be operated by MAS?
-
Since firefly axed miri route, starting July 1 will be KUL - SBW ( 2 daily ) and 3 daily starting August 1
while KUL - SDK will be commerce on august 1 ( 2 daily )
firefly is keep expanding
( actually just change the route of initial plan =.='' )
-
yea,but seems nobody cares that ...
-
So the airport did not have any airplane on tat time?
opps, din saw the 1st photo
that is a very nice photo...
n scary..
-
wa Luckily they keep the KL sibu route
and firefly's reply is kinda weird =.=
"flights between Kuala Lumpur and Miri will be operated by Malaysia Airlines."
so other route will not be?
-
then how bout miri and sibu flight?
any annoucement ?
-
erm, sorry if my question is not clear... haha
I am saying domestic route from KUL
like KUL-KCH-KUL , KUL-BKI-KUL and KUL-PEN-KUL occupied almost 1.6M passengers at Year 2007 or 2008 for tat FLY KUL program.
Other than that, I cant see any report saying the figures anymore.
* I found the pdf file from my laptop and some of KUL domestic destination are:
Kota Kinabalu 1,639,431
Kuching 1,501,766
Penang 1,333,517
Langkawi 967,335
There are just these airports as MAHB just release these 4 airports top 10 destination ( for 2007 ), and i am really looking forward the figures for the year after 2007 especially this year which domestic passenger >10M while KK KCH PEN almost have 50% of the passenger
-
How can we get the actual passengers destination for domestic?
eg. KCH 1.6M, BKI 1.6M, PEN 1.6M passengers
As for international, there is a list at MAHB annual report
-
they dun wan to move to t1 but still ask for expanding T2
-
KCH 7 daily and BKI 6 daily?
I just can say WOW!
both destination from KUL almost reach 30 daily flights.....
FY place a plane at BKI, good...
BTW, any news from other destination?
-
Fernandes pointed out that AirAsia’s success in establishing the Miri-Singapore route would not have been possible if the airport tax in Miri had not been reduced to RM25 from RM51.
So last time they cut off the route just because the airport tax too exp?
-
y dun giv tat 500m to penang airport? so penang airport can be nicer...
-
how about other airports in malaysia? I saw the news for miri airport. It handled 1.69M passengers at 2010. How about others?
-
I think they just dun land to KLIAa. then thy will save RM618 more
Firefly may take MAS jets to expand
in General Aviation

maybe the passenger volume for sibu n sandakan is not encouraging for so many flights
but what i am shocked to is the no of flights for MH to KCH and BKI are still remained same
both cities are so well connected to KUL( >25 flights per day )
